We believe that actions speak louder than words. So, in the interest of supporting our local Veterans Support group(https://veteransupportcentre.org/about) it’s been our pleasure to donate land to help them establish a much-needed Veterans Retreat. Geoff Harriman and his team have done an awesome job bringing this idea to life.

It’s been heart-warming to see that this project has not gone unnoticed and recently was highlighted at the House of Commons! Our local MP Jonathan Gullis MP raised the project with the Minister for Veterans Affairs, Leo Docherty (https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1219841048821067).

Getting support and visibility like this can only be a good thing for the project and our local veterans. Please have a look what the group are doing, and help if you able to do so.
